Why TruLight accent lighting looks better at night
White is the color most homeowners use every single night. If the white is off, you notice it constantly. Most permanent lighting systems run RGB-only LEDs, which means their "white" is blended from red, green, and blue. The result is a cool, blue-tinted glow that reads as harsh against warm building materials.
TruLight has 3 dedicated warm white LEDs in every light, separate from the 3 RGB LEDs. That gives you a real warm white that flatters stone, stucco, and brick, plus a pure white when you blend all 6 LEDs. It is the single most-used setting in our app, and it is the one homeowners switch to within a week of install.
