What Oelo gets right
Oelo runs aluminum tracks and 24V hardware that performs better than the 12V competition. Their installer network is well-trained on the basics, and their controller is reliable for accent and seasonal color modes.
On a basic install where the customer wants colored holiday scenes plus warm-ish white at night, Oelo will land most of the way there.
Where the gap is biggest
The biggest gap is the 3-year limited warranty. Most competitors in this tier publish 3 to 5 year terms. TruLight publishes lifetime. After 36 months, an Oelo customer is looking at out-of-pocket replacements when LEDs fail. A TruLight customer is not.
